How Slovak Meadows bloosomed

Our Beginning

We’re a young couple from the heart of Europe, and our story started a few years ago when we decided to try making tote bags. Turns out, bag-making wasn’t quite our thing. We’ve always dreamt of creating quality, unique clothing, and that’s how the Slovak Meadows brand came to life in 2021.
We’re gradually adding new pieces of clothing to our store. Our focus is on quality, not just in materials but also in the craftsmanship. That’s why we use natural materials like linen, cotton or wool. Each piece of clothing goes through our hands multiple times, making it a true handmade and slow fashion labor of love.

We don’t follow fast changing trends. We create timeless pieces — durable, sustainable and kind to our planet. Our designs stay, because true style and quality never go out of fashion.

Crafted With Purpose

At Slovak Meadows, everything begins with intention, from the fabrics we choose to the way each piece is made and sent to you.

We work with natural, certified materials, mainly high quality linen from Lithuania — a place known for its ethical and traditional craftsmanship. Our linen is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, meaning it’s safe for you and gentle on the planet.
Linen is at the heart of what we do, naturally breathable, durable and soft to touch.

Each garment is made to order, so there’s no overproduction or waste, only pieces created especially for you. We love bringing your ideas to life through customization, creating truly personal, heirloom quality pieces made to be treasured for years to come.

We also care about the little details. Every order is carefully wrapped in minimal, recyclable packaging, and we add a small flower grown in our own garden a simple touch from us to you.

Hi! I’m Mária, the heart and soul behind our little haven of slow fashion. Although I studied business management, my creative spirit always knew that wasn’t truly my path. So, I took a leap of faith and started this journey, one that connects my love for beauty, nature and craftsmanship.
I believe that beautiful things make the world a gentler, more magical place. That’s why it brings me so much joy to create pieces that make even an ordinary day feel a little more special.

Hi there! I’m the behind the scenes force at our little family business. By day, I work in education, but every spare moment goes into helping our business grow and run smoothly. While Mária brings the creative vision to life with her sewing, I take care of everything else, from finances and paperwork to tech and strategy. For me, it’s not just about numbers; it’s about making sure everything works perfectly so you can enjoy the best possible experience with us.
